Joseph "Bud" Haney - President & Chief Financial Officer
As co-founder and president of Profiles International, Bud Haney has been instrumental in building the value of the company as it has grown. He has skillfully managed the growth of the company’s departments, keeping a close eye on costs. Mr. Haney’s accounting expertise and the employment of solid fiscal policies has contributed significantly to the company’s bottom line.
Mr. Haney has also been the driving force behind the overseas expansion of Profiles International into nearly 120 countries. He was quick to recognize the potential for the companies products and services in emerging markets as well as in established ones.
His desire for high achievement was apparent to Mr. Haney’s baseball coaches in high school and college. He was awarded a baseball scholarship by Sam Houston State University where he earned a degree in accounting and was a four time All-American. Upon graduation, Mr. Haney signed a contract with the Kansas City Athletics. His baseball career, however, was ended by an injury during his third professional season.
Mr. Haney worked as a teacher and coach before joining his father’s climate control business in Galveston, his hometown. Then he established a human resources development business of his own. His success led to an executive position with an international company, of which he rose to become its president. It was in this environment that he and Jim Sirbasku became associates.
In 2004, Mr. Haney was honored by his alma mater, by being named to the Sam Houston State University Hall of Fame. The following year, he was named a Distinguished Alumnus by the SHSU board of directors and Alumni Association.
Mr. Haney has been honored by Sales & Marketing Executives International by being named to its Academy of Achievement Hall of Fame and has received SMEI’s Pinnacle Award in recognition of his high achievements. He is also a recipient of the Certified Emeritus in Marketing from Sales and Marketing Executives International and is a Miller Heiman Strategic Sales certified trainer.
Mr. Haney is a co-author of the best selling business guide 40 Strategies for Winning in Business.

Caren Shaffer, CME - Sr. Vice President of Educational Services & Government Solutions
Caren Shaffer has served as senior vice president of corporate marketing before assuming her present position. She Joined Profiles in 2004. Ms. Shaffer has also served as the executive vice president and general manager of Corporate Express’ Tennessee division. She also held the position of chairman of Sales and Marketing Executives International, and was a managing partner of CSP Associates and the president of Success Group, LLC
Ms. Shaffer has more than thirty years of experience in marketing, management, and business development. Ms. Shaffer has an executive-level professional background in client acquisition, organizational efficiency, and client satisfaction. She works with K-12 schools, technical schools, universities and colleges providing assessment tools that aid students in making informed study and career decisions.
Ms. Shaffer was a member of the Nashville Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors,and President of the Nashville Symphony Guild, Vice President of Friends of Cheekwood, and Council Chairman of the Saturn Non-Direct Supplier Council.
Ms. Shaffer has a B.A. from Sam Houston State University where her major was radio, television and film.

Susan Priest - Vice President of Support Services Educational Services Division

Susan is a graduate of Texas A&M University where she
received a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Communications.
While attending college, Susan was active in many
organizations in the areas of public speaking and public
relations.
Susan joined Profiles International, Inc. in 1999 and was
instrumental in the development of many of our delivery
systems, including Checkpoint On-line and Profiles on the
Web.
Susan worked as an Account Executive in Client Services for
5 years where she created and maintained key relationships
with many of our large accounts, including Fortune 500
organizations. She was awarded Client Service Account
Executive of the Year in 2002.
In 2005, she joined Government Solutions as Vice President
and created training and marketing materials for the Workforce Investment Boards. Her department had a 100%
renewal rate during her tenure.
Susan is a member of the Texas A&M Association of Former
Students and the 12th Man Foundation. She also volunteersfor several animal rescue organizations.

Al Rainaldi - Executive Vice President, Chief Learning Officer and Chief Sales Officer
Al Rainaldi is the key to Profiles’ successful alliance partnerships and a major player in the company’s long-range strategic planning efforts. Mr. Rainaldi also coordinates with the senior vice presidents who head Profiles’ five sales divisions. He has been with Profiles International since 1991.
Before joining Profiles International, Mr. Rainaldi operated a management consulting business and prior to that was the president and owner of National Coal and Construction, Inc. His extraordinary business achievements were featured in an issue of Success magazine.
Mr. Rainaldi attended the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Southern California at Fullerton. He is also a United States Air Force veteran.
Mr. Rainaldi is a certified Miller Heiman trainer in both “Conceptual Selling” and “Strategic Selling.” He has also received accreditation by Sales and Marketing Executives International’s Accreditation Board of Trustees as a Certified Marketing Executive (CME). He has also completed training in Socratic Selling.

Joe Kistner - Chief Operating Officer
Joe Kistner directs multiple areas of Profiles’ operations, including production, information technology and product development. He coordinates the integration of outside vendors and project managers for the direction of E-commerce. Mr. Kistner is also charged with channeling new products from concept through production to sales.
Mr. Kistner joined Profiles in 1991 as an area director in New England and became an executive in the home office in 1994.
As a member of the U.S. Navy, Mr. Kistner received technical electronics training and had a 10-year career with a large semiconductor equipment manufacturer where he designed computer and automation systems. He was also a production manager for the company’s 700-employee facility.

Scott F. Haney, Esq. - Corporate Counsel
Scott Haney joined Profiles International in 2000 after being admitted to the bar. He received a B.S. degree from Baylor University and a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from St. Mary’s Law School.
Mr. Haney is a specialist in contract law and employment law. Additionally, he has years of experience in negotiating contractual relationships with organizations that have formed alliances and partnerships with Profiles International.

Scott Hamilton, Ph.D. - Executive Vice President of Research and Development
Scott Hamilton leads Profiles' research and development team. He oversees all aspects of assessment development while supervising his team and the consultants Profiles engages for their expertise. Dr. Hamilton is charged with coordinating the development of new products as well as further refining the effectiveness of the company’s mature assessment products.
Dr. Hamilton consulted for Profiles before assuming his present position in 1995. He was for decades, a business consultant specializing in human resources, personnel evaluation and related fields. He also gained experience as a staff psychologist and psychotherapist in private practice.
Dr. Hamilton has a Masters Degree and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and Counseling with a minor in Research. He serves on the board of directors of the Association of Test Publishers, of which Profiles International was a founding member. He is also a member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP), the Association for Psychological Science (APS) and the International Test Commission (ITC). Dr. Hamilton is, additionally, an associate member of the British Psychological Society (BPS).

Ben Shaw, E.D.D. - Sr. Research Associate
Ben Shaw plays a vital role in preserving and refining the technical quality of Profiles’ assessment products. He teams with psychologists and the Research and Development staff, performing the statistical analysis of assessment components to assure their accuracy. He is also a specialist in designing assessments and interpreting their results.
Dr. Shaw has a B.S. and an M.S. from Texas A & M University plus an E.D. in Educational Administration from Oklahoma State University with an emphasis on research design and methodology.
The author of numerous articles on assessment and statistical analysis, Dr. Shaw, who has operated an independent consulting firm, has also contributed to several books in his field. He is also a member of the American Educational Research Association.
Dr. Shaw joined the Profiles team in 2008.

Bill Bramlett - Vice President – Software Development
Bill Bramlett joined the Profiles team in 2007 and manages the Software Development department. His team is responsible for implementing delivery platforms and assessment instruments for the global market. Mr. Bramlett manages a highly effective technical team, which provides software development, quality control, report development, and translation support. Mr. Bramlett has decades of technology development experience, having managed both software and hardware development organizations in companies ranging in size from startups to Fortune 50. He holds over 20 patents and has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas Tech University.

Sia Ahmadzadeh - Sr. Vice President - IT & Product Services
Sia Ahmadzadeh joined Profiles’ IT staff in 2000. During his tenure, he has integrated Profiles' technology provisioning, systems management, support and training operations into a cohesively managed set of enterprise technology services. He has also developed Profiles' corporate office computing environment into the secure, highly-available global services network that it is today. Mr Ahmadzadeh drove early adoption of virtualization technology which has yielded exceptional levels of business technology agility.
Mr. Ahmadzadeh has an Education in Information Systems degree from the University of Texas at Austin, is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and has more than twenty years of software development and systems management experience.
